We’re a marketing + AI operations company serving medical practices.

Our internal software is mission-critical: an LLM-assisted patient scheduling system (voice, text, and email) plus supporting internal tools for marketing and operations.

Most of the foundation exists — we need a strong backend engineer who can own execution, improve reliability, and help us move faster.

This is for you if:

✅ You are fascinated by AI and live and breathe this stuff, using tools to move faster (Cursor strongly preferred, plus AntiGravity, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and constantly looking for an edge

✅ You can work fast without breaking things (tests + good engineering hygiene)

✅ You’ve shipped production systems and aren’t scared of debugging real-world issues

Our stack (important):

- Backend: Node.js + Express

- Database/Auth/Storage: Supabase (Postgres DB + Auth + S3-style storage)

- Repo/Delivery: Supabase (retiring Azure) + GitHub repo

- Integrations: Telnyx (telecom), GoHighLevel (CRM), plus others as needed

- AI tooling: You should actively use AI tools to accelerate development - Cursor / AntiGravity / Lovable / ChatGPT (you should be comfortable using these daily)

What you’ll work on (our immediate priorities):

➡️ Improve Voice AI tracking systems

➡️ Voice AI migration to an enterprise platform
(finish/extend endpoints + workflows for our switch)

➡️ Integrate with platforms for phone number spam monitoring and remediation

➡️ Assist in developing phone number rotation & local presence for our platform

➡️ Develop messaging AI systems (email, text, etc.)

➡️ Integrate and restructure a new platform for email deliverability

➡️ Prompt reliability: organize prompt templates and add lightweight regression checks so model changes don’t silently break flows

➡️ Observability: improve logging and metrics so we can see what’s happening and troubleshoot quickly

Requirements (read carefully):

➡️ 4–6+ years experience (mid–senior) building production backends

➡️ Strong Node.js/Express experience

➡️ Strong SQL/Postgres fundamentals (schemas, indexes, query debugging)

➡️ Experience with Supabase OR similar serverless setups (e.g., Vercel + managed DB, PlanetScale, Firebase, etc.)

➡️ Strong experience with scalable APIs, auth flows (JWT/OAuth), and webhook-based integrations

➡️ Advanced knowledge of AI tools

➡️ Strong communication, reliability, and follow-through

➡️ Clear English communication

➡️ You can start within 7–10 days if selected

Bonus (not required, but great):

- TypeScript

- Supabase Realtime / real-time features

- Supabase Edge Functions (or comparable edge/serverless functions)

- Prior Telnyx/LiveKit/PipeCat and GoHighLevel experience
